What is GCTI?
The GCTI certifies knowledge of cyber threat intelligence at the strategic, operational, and tactical level. The exam covers open source intelligence and campaign analysis, intrusion analysis, attribution, and the collection and storage of data sets, plus the analytical models Kill Chain, Diamond Model, and courses-of-action matrix, as well as malware as a collection source, pivoting, and intelligence sharing. It is aligned with the SANS course FOR578. According to GIAC it addresses incident response team members, threat hunters, security operations center staff, information security practitioners, experienced forensic analysts, and federal agents and law enforcement officers.
