What is Server+?

CompTIA Server+ validates server competence, from hardware installation through day-to-day administration to hardening, disaster recovery and troubleshooting. Troubleshooting is the single largest block at roughly a quarter of the exam content. The exam code is SK0-005, available since May 2021. Unlike many vendor certifications it is platform neutral and covers both data centre and virtualised environments. An A+ certification or equivalent knowledge plus two years of practice in a server environment is recommended. The exam is offered in English and Japanese.
