What is A+?

CompTIA A+ is the entry-level credential for IT support and endpoint work. It is the only CompTIA certification made up of two separate exams: Core 1 and Core 2 must both be passed, and both must come from the same version, mixing versions is not allowed. The current version is V15 with exam codes 220-1201 and 220-1202. Twelve months of hands-on experience in a support role is recommended. The exams are offered in English, German and Japanese.
