What is ECSS?

The ECSS bundles three EC-Council entry-level fields into one certification. The exam covers network defence, meaning network security, identification, authentication and authorisation, security controls, virtualisation, cloud, wireless, IoT and cryptography; ethical hacking essentials with malware, password attacks, social engineering and attacks on networks, web, mobile, IoT and cloud; and digital forensics essentials with the investigation process, data acquisition, anti-forensics, and forensics for Windows, Linux, Mac, network, web, email and malware. According to the provider it addresses students, career starters, and career changers without prior cybersecurity experience.
