What is CASE?

The CASE certifies secure development across the whole application lifecycle. The exam covers application threats and attacks, gathering security requirements, secure architecture and design, secure coding practices for input validation, authentication, authorisation, cryptography, session management and error handling, as well as static and dynamic security testing, secure deployment and maintenance. EC-Council offers the certification in separate Java and .NET variants. According to the provider it addresses developers with at least two years of experience and professionals who test, operate, or secure applications.
