What is GMLE?

The GMLE certifies machine learning skills with a security application focus. The exam covers anomaly detection and optimisation, convolutional neural networks and deep learning neural networks, data acquisition, exploration and visualisation as well as data manipulation and analysis, plus inferential statistics, probability and loss functions, Python scripting, and supervised and unsupervised learning. It is aligned with the SANS course SEC595. According to GIAC it addresses data scientists, forensic analysts, information security professionals interested in machine learning, and security analysts and engineers.
