What is GMOB?

The GMOB certifies skills for assessing and securing mobile devices and applications. The exam covers managing Android and iOS devices and apps including jailbreaking and rooting, mitigating mobile malware and the risks of lost or stolen devices, analysing and reverse engineering applications, and application security assessments and network traffic manipulation. It is aligned with the SANS course SEC575. According to GIAC it addresses security staff responsible for assessing, deploying, or securing phones and tablets, as well as penetration testers, ethical hackers, auditors, and network and system administrators.
