What is GCTD?

The GCTD certifies skills for detecting attacks in cloud environments. The exam covers detecting attacks in the cloud, cloud investigations and cyber threat intelligence, and assessments and automation in AWS and Azure. It is aligned with the SANS course SEC541. According to GIAC it addresses security analysts, engineers and architects, vulnerability assessors, incident responders, monitoring, threat detection and incident response practitioners, and cloud logging administrators.
