What is GMON?
The GMON certifies skills in continuous security monitoring and defensive architecture. The exam covers security architecture and the operation of security operations centres, network security architecture and monitoring, and endpoint security architecture, automation, and continuous monitoring. It is aligned with the SANS course SEC511. According to GIAC it addresses professionals working in continuous diagnostics and mitigation or security monitoring, security architects, senior security engineers, technical security managers, and security operations centre analysts, engineers, and managers.
