What is LPT?

The LPT (Master) is not a separate exam programme but the higher outcome of the same exam that also leads to the CPENT. EC-Council runs one shared, fully practical 24-hour exam in a realistic network environment under live proctoring. Candidates scoring at least 90 percent receive the LPT (Master) title; those scoring between 70 and 89 percent receive the CPENT. In content the exam covers the same fields: pentest methodology, web and API attacks, privilege escalation on Windows and Linux, exploit development, attacks on IoT and OT, cloud and wireless testing, and writing the final report.
