What is PECB DORA Foundation?

The PECB DORA Foundation is the entry tier of the PECB DORA curriculum and covers the basics of EU Regulation 2022/2554 on digital operational resilience in the financial sector. The two-day training addresses scope, ICT risk management, incident reporting, resilience testing, and third-party risks, and awards 14 CPD credits. The exam is a one-hour closed-book multiple-choice test with a 70 percent passing score. There are no prerequisites, the certificate is lifetime, and no CPD obligations apply. In the DACH market the tier serves as an awareness building block for banks, insurers, and ICT third parties that came into the DORA scope on 17 January 2025.
