What is PECB DORA Lead Manager?

The PECB Certified DORA Lead Manager certifies holders to plan and steer a DORA compliance program in the financial sector under EU Regulation 2022/2554. The five-day training spans over 450 pages of material and awards 31 CPD credits, covering ICT risk management, incident management and reporting, resilience testing, third-party risks, and continual improvement. The exam combines multiple-choice and scenario-based essay questions across five domains at a 70 percent passing score. PECB offers four tiers (Provisional Manager, Manager, Lead Manager, Senior Lead Manager) with varying experience and project-hour requirements. In the DACH market the certificate addresses acute demand at banks, insurers, and ICT third parties that have been in the DORA scope since 17 January 2025.
