What is PECB NIS2LI?

The PECB NIS 2 Directive Lead Implementer certifies holders to plan and execute NIS 2 requirements in essential and important entities under EU Directive 2022/2555. The five-day training covers scope, risk management, reporting duties, supply chain and governance requirements, and the sanctions framework, and awards 31 CPD credits. The exam combines multiple-choice and scenario-based essay tasks at a 70 percent passing score. Full Lead Implementer credentialing requires five years of professional experience plus 300 project hours; Provisional, Implementer, and Senior Lead tiers also exist. In the DACH market the certificate addresses strong demand for credible NIS 2 implementation expertise, particularly among consultancies and in regulated industries such as energy, healthcare, and critical infrastructure.
