What is GISP?

The GISP certifies broad foundational information security knowledge across eight domains. The exam covers security and risk management, asset security, security architecture and engineering, communication and network security, identity and access management, security assessment and testing, security operations, and software development security. According to GIAC it addresses security professionals who want to work through the concepts of the CISSP exam, system and security administrators, network administrators, and security managers.
