What is GSP?

The GSP is a portfolio certification without an exam of its own. It is not earned through a single examination but by demonstrating GIAC certifications already held: any three practitioner certifications and any two applied knowledge certifications, five in total. As long as all components are kept valid, GIAC states there is no deadline by which the parts must be collected. GIAC describes the GSP as a milestone on the journey to the GSE, which requires six practitioner and four applied knowledge certifications.
