What is PECB C-DPO?

The PECB GDPR Certified Data Protection Officer targets aspiring and practicing data protection officers who want to demonstrate competence in building and operating a GDPR compliance framework. The five-day training course covers three domains: GDPR fundamentals, roles and responsibilities, and technical and organizational measures. PECB is recognized by the French data protection authority CNIL as a DPO skills certification provider, which strengthens the certificate in French-speaking markets. In the DACH market it competes with the TUEV DSB certificate (BvD curriculum) and IAPP CIPP/E plus CIPM, but is seen as the more internationally visible option. The exam consists of 80 multiple-choice questions, is open-book, and grants 35 CPD credits from training attendance.
