Overview
What is PECB 42001LI?
The PECB ISO/IEC 42001 Lead Implementer certifies holders to establish and operate an AI Management System per ISO/IEC 42001. The five-day training covers planning, implementation, monitoring, and continual improvement of the AIMS and awards 31 CPD credits. The exam is a scenario-based open-book test with a 70 percent passing score. Full Lead Implementer credentialing requires five years of professional experience (two in AI) plus 300 project hours, lower tiers (Provisional, Implementer) are available without those requirements. In the DACH market 42001 is particularly relevant as an implementation framework for the EU AI Act, often combined with ISO 27001 and established ISMS structures.
